What will I receive as part of the Best in Class franchise system?
We will provide pre-opening training for franchisees for up to five days at our corporate headquarters, plus up to three days of onsite support during your initial months of operations. As a franchise owner, you will have access to all Best in Class trademarks, operational tools and procedures. We’ll also present you with a copy of our confidential operations manual to help you run your business properly on a day-to-day basis.
What type of prior experience do I need to have?
You do not necessarily need to be a teacher or hold a current teaching certificate to join the Best in Class franchise system. We do look for franchise owners who have Bachelor’s Degrees or higher, and some experience in working with children. Franchisees should also have a passion for teaching or working with students, plus the right business/customer relations skills, and a solid work ethic. We also want franchise owners who will be dedicated to the operations and growth of their Best in Class Education Centers. In turn, we’ll provide you the support you need to run your Best in Class business. We do, of course, also expect that you have the right amount of capital to invest in the franchise.
How much will the Best in Class franchise investment cost me?
The estimated required investment for a single start-up Best in Class franchise location ranges between $76,000 and $128,600, including a franchise fee of $30,000. As with any new business venture, it’s important that you have the capital needed to adequately fund your new business.
Are there ongoing fees paid to the franchisor?
Franchisees will be required to pay royalties of 12%, based on prior month’s gross receipts. These fees allow us to fund our ongoing support services and the continued development of procedures, marketing tools, training programs, and systems upgrades.
Are there any advertising fees?
Franchisees will be required to spend the greater of 4% of gross receipts (from prior month) or a flat fee of $500 per month toward local marketing efforts. We will also initially collect 2% (and potentially up to 3%) of gross revenues for the system marketing fund. Any collected funds will be used to develop marketing strategies to promote the Best in Class brand and fund the creative costs to develop any local franchise marketing materials and campaigns.
Is financing available?
We do not offer direct financing to franchisees. We may be able to provide references to qualified financing or lending agencies, on a case-by-case basis.
What is the term of the franchise agreement?
The initial term of your franchise agreement is five years, with three five-year successor terms.
